From engineering through production and inspection, Power Plus Pumps®, and Motors are manufactured with exacting care, and close attention to detail. This control of quality, coupled with the superior features incorporated in the design, insures long life, and efficient trouble-free performance.

WARRANTY COVERAGE:

All Power Plus Pumps®, and Motors for ponds, swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs are warranted to be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship at the time of purchase. In the event these products malfunction within 36 months from the date of purchase,  warranty coverage is as follows:

EXCLUSIONS FROM THIS WARRANTY:

This warranty does not cover:

1. The pump seals, housing gasket, diffuser gasket, and strainer cover gasket.

2. Problems resulting from failure to comply with installation instructions or drawings, or improper installation.

3. Problems resulting from abuse, misuse, negligence or accident by any party other than Power Plus Pumps®, such as, but not limited to, damage to pond, or swimming pool fixtures, damage to parts caused by installers, damage to pump parts caused by “dry” operation (loss of prime or obstruction in plumbing lines), immersion in water, etc.

Problems resulting in whole or in part from tampering, incorrect wiring, accident, improper installation, alteration or modification of these products by any party, or unauthorized repairs.

Any application other than normal use.

Periodic check-ups.

Metal failures due to chemical corrosion.

WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS OF Power Plus Pumps®:

Should a malfunction be proved attributable to a defect in workmanship and/or material in any item covered by this warranty, during the term of the warranty, then upon the consumer following the procedures set forth below, POWER PLUS PUMPS® will at its option, repair or replace such item at its own cost and expense. POWER PLUS PUMPS® is not, however, responsible under this warranty for any cost of shipping, insurance, or transportation of the equipment or parts thereof to or from the Service Department. Also POWER PLUS PUMPS® is not liable for any loss of time, inconvenience, incidental expenses such as telephone calls, labor or material charges incurred in connection with the removal or replacement of the equipment, or any other incidental or consequential damages, including injury to any person, caused by items of our manufacture or sale. The foregoing is in lieu of any other warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, which now or hereafter might otherwise arise with respect to this product. The warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose, shall have no greater duration than the duration period of the express written warranty applicable to this product, and shall terminate automatically at the expiration of such duration period. In any event, the total liability of Power Plus Pumps®, under any circumstances, shall not exceed the full purchase price of this product. The provisions of this warranty are severable and if any provision shall be deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

PLEASE NOTE: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING WARRANTY PERFORMANCE:

In order to obtain the benefits of this warranty, the consumer who made the original retail purchase shall contact the Authorized POWER PLUS PUMPS® Distributor or Dealer that the original retail purchase was made from, as soon as possible after discovery of the defect, but in no event later than the expiration date of the warranty period provided in this warranty. Upon receipt of this communication, the Authorized POWER PLUS PUMPS® Distributor or Dealer will promptly notify the customer of the address to which the defective item may be shipped, and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) . The customer shall then ship the item, freight prepaid, to the address indicated together with a letter stating the RMA#, model number, serial number, if any, and date of purchase of the item, which is claimed to be defective, the name and address of the consumer, and a brief description of the problems encountered. No returns without an RMA# will be accepted.

WARRANTY PROTECTS ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER ONLY.

This warranty extends to the consumer who made the original retail purchase only, and is not transferable to, or enforceable by any other party.
